Scotland’s NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board Seeks Better Use of Data and Increased Participation in Clinical Trials by Joining TriNetX Network

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board (NHSGGC), Scotland’s largest NHS organization and one of the largest in the UK, wanted to make better use of its extensive patient data and increase participation in clinical trials. To do this, it partnered with TriNetX and joined the TriNetX global health research network.

With TriNetX, NHSGGC gained access to secure, aggregated, de-identified views of patient health records to support research across the health board and with partner organizations. The TriNetX network connects more than 170 healthcare organizations across 30 countries, and NHSGGC expects the collaboration to improve data visualization and expand research and clinical trial opportunities.
