HopeLab Gains Efficiencies, Increases Productivity with TriNet

HopeLab is a 25‑person nonprofit in Redwood City that develops technology‑based interventions to improve the health of chronically ill adolescents and young adults (notably the Re‑Mission video game). As the organization grew, leadership sought to gain internal efficiencies and focus on mission‑critical work by outsourcing core HR functions like benefits and payroll to a partner offering credibility, technical expertise and easy access to competitive benefits.

TriNet met those needs by providing a dedicated Human Capital Consultant, a secure 24/7 HR Passport portal and self‑service HR tools. The result was increased productivity and lower routine HR costs, broader access to quality benefits for employees, and a responsive, knowledgeable HR partner that allowed HopeLab to concentrate on its programs.
