Winter Park Construction Uses Prolog® Software to Improve Employee Performance, Boost Sales and Protect Profit

Winter Park Construction (WPC) is a Maitland, FL–based general contractor specializing in resorts, condominiums, timeshares, hotels and multifamily projects, completing about 20–25 jobs a year with $160–$200M in revenue. WPC’s growth and brand reputation were hindered by inconsistent Microsoft-based documentation, a proprietary multi-database document control system, and scattered spreadsheet financials. Senior management sought a single solution to standardize documents, increase financial visibility and centralize project information.

WPC selected Prolog Manager and engaged HardHat Technologies for a phased implementation—training an internal Prolog administrator, customizing forms and templates, running pilots and rolling the system out by role. Within months the company standardized project management across 70 users, sped administrative processes (allowing PMs to take on more work), improved cost control and reporting, increased accountability and early problem detection, and reduced staff hours, overtime and paper. Prolog WebSite extended collaboration to external teams and became a selling point; management reports a strong, potentially “phenomenal,” ROI.
