Waste Resources Limited, based at Auckland International Airport, operates an incinerator that destroys quarantine-controlled goods from inbound aircraft and ships, plus medical waste from hospitals and clinics. The company needed a reliable way to charge customers by the weight of material incinerated and to weigh individual loads going into the furnace so operators could set the correct burn rate.

To solve this, Waste Resources installed a LOADRITE system on its TCM loader to weigh waste as it’s unloaded for invoicing and again as it’s loaded into the furnace for combustion control. A trial against a weighbridge showed LOADRITE matched the bridge’s accuracy and provided the most consistent weights, giving the company confidence in billing and burn-rate management.
