A Trimble Case Study
The customer, Heartland Concrete Construction, a small parking contractor, faced a major challenge when a grocery store parking lot project became a complex disaster due to significant engineering and elevation errors. The vendor, Trimble, provided its SCS900 Site Controller Software and a Universal Total Station to help re-engineer and overcome these issues.
The solution involved using Trimble technology to redesign the unworkable entrance and correctly grade the entire site. This resulted in massive time and labor savings, with some grading work that previously took a 10-person crew over a week now being completed by six people in a single day. Trimble's solution dramatically increased productivity, reduced costs, and gave the small contractor the confidence and capability to take on larger, more complex projects.
