A Trimble Case Study
Adolfson & Peterson Construction, a top-50 U.S. builder headquartered in Minneapolis, faced fragmented cost management as project teams relied on disparate systems and region-specific spreadsheets. Manual projection workflows and a lack of integration between the project management and accounting systems made it difficult to get timely, accurate views of project budgets, costs and financial performance, prompting a company-wide initiative to standardize practices and improve transparency.
AP implemented Trimble Prolog Converge as part of its Cost Management and Projections (CMaP) program, integrating accounting actuals, configuring existing Prolog business logic, and rolling out targeted training and boot camps. The result is a single, 360° view of project financials with real-time, risk-based and daily profit projections, streamlined reporting, far less duplicate data entry, and measurable adoption—more than 353,000 job cost details integrated, 723 jobs set up, and 6,105+ cost projections linked between systems—delivering greater predictability and transparency.
