Trimble GNSS Handhelds and Software Deliver a Four-Fold Improvement in Data Collection Productivity

Columbia County, Georgia’s GIS department needed to inventory 220 miles of newly buried fiber optic cable and five wireless relay towers across heavily wooded terrain, where dense canopy and limited satellite visibility made GNSS data collection slow and intermittent.
