Trimble GCSFlex Optimizes Operations for French Earth Moving Company

CSVRD is a 10-person earth-moving company based in Buchères, France. Seeking to grow and become more competitive, director Stéphane Cuny wanted to boost productivity, better use equipment and personnel across projects, and meet tighter technical and safety requirements in bids.

Working with SITECH France, CSVRD installed a Trimble GCSFlex grade control system on its 22‑ton Hitachi excavator — a compact “system in a case” with boom, body and bucket sensors plus an in-cab display and laser guidance. The system sped up completion of a major earthworks contract, cut onsite labor (three fewer people on roadworks, one fewer on platforms), enabled operators to work solo with centimeter accuracy and less rework, improved safety, and gave the company a clear competitive edge that has helped win more contracts.
