A Trimble Case Study
Torcon, Inc. is a privately held construction management and general contracting firm (about $400M annual revenue) operating from New Jersey with offices in Philadelphia and Puerto Rico. Facing fragmented, ad‑hoc project systems, Torcon needed to standardize and centralize document and data management to improve efficiency, reduce the learning curve for staff, and ensure consistent, auditable project records for safety and claims.
Torcon implemented Meridian’s Prolog and Prolog WebSite, consolidated processes into a standards book, and moved hosting to The Cram Group’s ProjectXnet for performance, cost savings, and a branded client portal. Custom reporting and cross‑project analytics improved visibility (including safety trends), while the Encompass tablet integration put Prolog in the field to eliminate duplicate data entry, speed RFIs and punch‑list work (saving an estimated 4–8 hours/week during closeout), and deliver a 10–20% productivity gain overall.
