The School District of Osceola County, Florida—serving 52 schools and more than 61,000 students—was managing a large capital program (150+ active projects) with a manual, paper-driven system and a Microsoft Access database. This created slow, inconsistent reporting, unreliable timelines, fragmented change-order/contract and purchase-order processes, and a cumbersome, non-auditable permit and plan-review workflow.
Implementing e-Builder centralized document management, searchable filing, and 50+ custom workflows, plus an integrated plan-review and permit application process accessible from any web-enabled device. The district gained real-time project visibility and line-item transparency, automated notifications for Finance and Purchasing, BI scheduling and reporting tools, and now over 100 users rely on e-Builder to streamline workflows, improve accountability and better manage the capital program.
