TIC (The Industrial Company) is a national industrial contractor serving power, mining, marine, water/wastewater and other process industries. Facing a decentralized project-management environment with many in-house systems, TIC struggled with inconsistent processes and reporting across projects, making it difficult to achieve standard project controls and reliable, company-wide data.

TIC selected Meridian’s Prolog Manager for its open Microsoft SQL architecture and 80/20 fit, then rolled it out in phases (document control, materials, subcontract administration, cost control) with project-level customization, training and an XML-based data sync to corporate systems. The implementation—now deployed on over 40 projects with 235 licenses—delivered integrated, real-time cost and project information, reduced duplicate effort and errors, and established consistent project controls that teams now rely on.
