That’s How NIBE Anticipates Sustainability and Connectivity

NIBE Energietechniek BV, the European market leader in heat pumps and a subsidiary of NIBE AB, wanted to accelerate the shift to sustainable, connected climate systems for homes and buildings. As demand for smart, low-carbon solutions grew, NIBE needed to make precise, high-quality BIM data available so MEP engineers, designers and installers could specify, model and integrate its heat pumps across projects and countries.

NIBE partnered with MEPcontent and Trimble MEP to create and publish standardized Revit, AutoCAD and IFC files (using the Extended MEPcontent Standard), integrate those files with its website and distribute them through the MEPcontent portal. The outcome: significantly higher visibility and downloads, faster inclusion of NIBE products in designs and installations, major time savings for the company and customers, and improved support for engineers and remote maintenance workflows.
