South Bay Union School District (SBUSD) needed to modernize aging facilities across 12 elementary schools under an $82M Proposition X bond program funded by seven different sources. The district and its program manager, SGI Construction Management, faced strict auditing and reporting requirements and needed to track budget vs. actual costs, funding allocation and program-wide document control to ensure financial accountability and transparency to the Board, oversight committees and state auditors.

SGI recommended and implemented Prolog Manager with support from Rotech Consulting, and a three-person team now uses the system to manage every project detail. The solution delivered standardized data entry, a centralized document repository, custom financial reports and reliable audit trails—improving efficiency, enabling better cost control and cash‑flow forecasting, facilitating contractor collaboration, and allowing the district to deliver additional scope while maintaining budget and audit compliance.
