Trimble’s FLISR in the DMS automatically detects, locates and isolates faults and issues remote switching sequences—while operators can pause actions for safety—allowing most customers to have power restored within minutes. Combined with Trimble’s Outage Communication (real-time maps, SMS/email alerts and IVR), the solution improves crew prioritization and situational awareness, reduces customer service calls and has proven robust during large-scale storms.
