Royal Trucking Company, a carrier operating 250 tractors and 500 trailers, needed to improve on-time delivery performance and better manage fleet maintenance. Its deliveries were arriving on schedule only about 82% of the time, and the company also wanted stronger visibility into service issues to keep trucks generating revenue. Trimble’s TMW.Suite transportation management system, hosted services, and business intelligence tools were brought in to help address these operational challenges.

Trimble implemented a broader suite that included TMW.Suite, Engage.Bid, and TMT Fleet Maintenance to improve load management, decision-making, security, and asset uptime. As a result, Royal Trucking increased on-time delivery from 82% to 94% and became more proactive in identifying maintenance issues, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
