Pollywog Transport, a regional carrier with 33 power units and 90 trailers serving many Fortune 500 customers, faced a major compliance challenge after a 2006 DOT/ISS audit found widespread driver log errors. Because most drivers used end-of-day paper logs and missed details like time-zone changes, the company experienced driver-out-of-service (OOS) rates as high as 90%, threatening service reliability and customer commitments.

Pollywog deployed PeopleNet eDriver Logs across the fleet—along with Automated Fuel Tax, Automated Workflow and Vehicle Management—trained drivers in small groups, and phased in the technology.
