NIBCO - Customer Case Study

NIBCO, a family‑owned manufacturer of valves, fittings and flow‑control products with 13 manufacturing sites and over 36,000 SKUs, wanted to expand its commercial construction footprint and build awareness for five new product lines. Selling through distributors made it difficult to reach and influence the engineers, designers and contractors who specify products, and NIBCO needed a more discoverable, up‑to‑date CAD/BIM presence.

NIBCO partnered with Trimble to integrate its product content into Trimble MEP’s building data library, providing real‑time CAD/BIM access and in‑depth analytics. The integration put product specs, pricing and cut‑sheet data in front of hundreds to thousands of detailers, fabricators and designers daily, improved constructability and information speed in the field, and strengthened NIBCO’s relationships and specification rates among end users.
