A Trimble Case Study
Neal Electric Corporation, a San Diego–area commercial and industrial electrical contractor founded in 1958 with roughly 500 employees and $80M in annual revenue, struggled to manage 100+ projects a year using disconnected tools (Word, Excel, Accubid). Growth exposed redundant, manual processes and data re‑entry that increased error risk and reduced visibility into billings, budgets and change orders, prompting the search for a dedicated project management solution.
Neal partnered with Kelar Pacific to implement and customize Prolog, rolled it out with staged training and migrated active projects to a paperless workflow using Cost Control, Document Management, Field Administration and custom reporting. The change eliminated redundancies, streamlined POs and RFIs, improved financial visibility and approvals, delivered about 15% time savings so teams can proactively manage costs, and positioned the company for further integration and profit improvements.
