Myco Mechanical Gains Competitive Advantage with Trimble Solutions

Myco Mechanical, a 150‑person mechanical contractor based in Telford, PA, was facing tighter competition and a shrinking pool of skilled MEP workers while trying to streamline production and maintain high quality. The company’s VDC team needed a modeling workflow that worked natively inside Autodesk Revit to support HVAC and plumbing trades, enable fabrication from the model, and reduce time spent switching between tools.

Myco implemented Trimble SysQue with Trimble Connect plus Trimble Robotic Total Stations, the Trimble X7 scanner and FieldLink to create constructible Revit models, coordinate trades, and drive field layout and fabrication. The result: faster, more accurate models and field work, an estimated 15–30% labor savings, layout productivity of 300–600 points per day, quicker speed to market, fewer staffing needs to handle growing work, and new business wins from demonstrating their advanced capabilities.
