Case Study: Kuwait Municipality achieves paperless, same-day boundary surveys with Trimble

A Trimble Case Study

Preview of the Kuwait Municipality Case Study

Kuwait is now delivering parcels to citizens faster than ever

Kuwait Municipality (KM), the government land-management agency, needed to speed up mandatory boundary surveys as rapid development and adjacent buildings frequently block GNSS signals or create costly encroachments. Traditional survey workflows were paper-heavy and could take more than 15 days to resolve disputes or deliver parcels, so KM engaged Vision International and Trimble technologies to meet a target accuracy of better than 3 cm and improve turnaround.

KM implemented a mixed solution combining Trimble Access, a Remote Parcel Validator (RPV) for real-time quality control, and Trimble S5 total stations with R2/R8/R10 GNSS receivers to fuse optical and GNSS measurements. The system automates checks, enables digital parcel release and instant office review, and freezes transactions if tolerance or GNSS quality is poor—cutting the delivery process from weeks to a single afternoon (often about two hours), eliminating paperwork and accelerating parcel handover.
