Mishcon de Reya LLP is an independent London-based law firm of around 780 people that moved into a new 122,000 sq ft Holborn headquarters and created a luxury hotel-style client lounge to improve the visitor experience. That generous, flexible reception and lounge space—where clients might arrive early, mingle, be announced later or go straight to meetings—created a front-of-house challenge: the firm’s existing room-booking tools couldn’t reliably manage the growing volume of meetings, guests and the full “visitor journey” from booking to departure.

Mishcon selected Trimble’s cloud-based Space Scheduling for its intuitive drag-and-drop interface, colour-coded displays, visitor tracking, calendar integration, reporting and touch-screen room panels; the system was configured and live in under 10 weeks. The solution centralised visitor processing, catering and AV bookings, provides live room and occupant status on large screens and AMX panels, and delivers end-to-end visitor tracking—resulting in faster, less time-consuming check-ins, better internal communication, positive client feedback and a calmer reception experience.
