A Trimble Case Study
Greenhatch Group, a multi-office surveying and engineering practice, was engaged to run a five‑year monitoring programme in a historic area of London during demolition and new construction around a Roman Wall. The site had tight access constraints and the client required reliable 2D charts plus x,y,z movement values (with deltas) to be delivered within 24 hours of data collection.
Greenhatch implemented a semi‑automated workflow using a Trimble S9 total station with the Trimble Access Monitoring Module on a TSC3 logger and Trimble T4D Lite, installing 172 prisms across the site and using six setup positions for weekly visits. This setup allowed full field analysis and cloud delivery within the 24‑hour window, cut onsite time to one day, provided immediate alerts and optional mm‑accurate SX10 scans as backup, and secured client confidence and further work as the project progresses.
