A Trimble Case Study
Crossroads Family Farms in Indiana had long used precision farming tools like GPS receivers and autosteer, but Brad and Todd Stephenson still struggled to manage field data efficiently across thousands of acres in seven counties. They needed a better way to turn farm data into timely, useful decisions, and they turned to Trimble’s Connected Farm solution to help solve that challenge.
Trimble implemented Connected Farm with Office Sync, Farm Works Mapping, FmX displays, Field-IQ, Autopilot, and Vehicle Sync to move data wirelessly between the office and equipment and share guidance lines and coverage maps between vehicles. The result was faster data access, easier recordkeeping, and improved planting efficiency, along with an estimated 8–10% savings on seed and fertilizer inputs.
