Christa Construction Uses Prolog Software to Achieve Real-Time Project Projections and Measurable Gains in Efficiency

Christa Construction, LLC is a New York–based general contractor founded in 1982 that has completed over $5B in construction and currently delivers $100–200M of work annually. Facing an unsupported, client/server version of Expedition project management software, Christa needed a modern, web-based solution that would integrate with its Sage Timberline accounting, provide strong budgeting and forecasting, and give owners and architects web access to documents. After evaluating several vendors, the company selected Meridian’s Prolog (implemented by reseller PSS) and the ProIntegrator link from CubisOne.

Prolog went live on a 90-day fast track and was rolled out in phases; today more than 50 users manage roughly 70 active jobs. Integration with Timberline delivers real-time cost data and forecasting, eliminating duplicate entry and spreadsheet-based projections. Christa saw faster processing of submittals and RFIs (tasks cut from hours to about 30 minutes), increased administrative and project-manager productivity, improved executive oversight and risk management, and stronger client collaboration—opening the door to new opportunities and measurable efficiency gains.
