Chicago Housing Authority Speeds Invoicing Process And Centralizes Reporting With Prolog Manager And Prolog Exchange

The Chicago Housing Authority (CHA), the third-largest public housing agency in the U.S. with 40,000 residences, launched a $1.6 billion "Plan for Transformation" to renovate or replace two‑thirds of its units. Managing more than 200 simultaneous projects and dozens of contractors created a major challenge for communication, cost tracking, document control and timely invoicing across the program.

CHA deployed Meridian’s Prolog suite—Prolog Manager and Prolog WebSite, later adding Prolog Exchange—to automate submittals, cost control, RFIs and document workflows. The system centralized reporting, standardized financial forms, sped invoicing, reduced paper and redundant data entry, improved contractor collaboration and provided custom reports and meeting logs that helped the board and staff monitor progress and make faster, better decisions.
