Spotland, a Copenhagen-based surveying and data‑processing contractor (part of Barslund), needed more accurate, high‑quality 3D models for roadways, intersections and site developments and a more connected way to share data across jobsites to reduce rework and onsite coordination time.

Spotland adopted Trimble solutions—Business Center - HCE, Connected Community, total stations, rovers and GCS900—to create constructible 3D models and push them directly to machine control. Using HCE’s intersection tools and cloud sharing, the team cut intersection modeling from 2–3 days to about one day (a ~50% speedup), saves roughly four hours per design revision on medium sites, delivers models in real time to operators, and has reduced rework and survey costs.
