Adolfson & Peterson Construction Uses Prolog® Software to Increase Profit Margins and Double its Work Volume without Adding Staff

Adolfson & Peterson Construction (A&P) is a 60‑year‑old general contractor headquartered in Minneapolis with operations across the U.S. As revenues grew rapidly, A&P’s profit margins lagged due to inefficiencies, poor collaboration and delayed communication, prompting an internal Team Digital to evaluate and overhaul its technology stack.

Team Digital implemented best‑of‑breed, construction‑specific systems—most notably Prolog Manager and Prolog WebSite—on a standardized SQL platform, added an intranet reporting dashboard to unify project and accounting views, and standardized/paperless workflows. The changes delivered real‑time cost control, faster RFI turnaround and enterprise collaboration; margins rose over 1% in three years, and A&P nearly doubled work volume (from ~$420M in 2004 to a projected ~$800M in 2008) without adding project management support staff.
