Accurately measure your production and match resources accordingly

Vaglio, a quarry near Metz, France, needed to reorganize its production after customer demand shifted from oolitic limestone toward limestone polypary. Their operation—eight mobile and fixed crushers across the site—lacked reliable, site-wide production measurement, making it hard to match resources to new product mixes and optimize efficiency.

LOADRITE installed a C1850 belt scale and INSIGHT software on the main conveyor, then expanded the system to cover ten conveyors. The real-time data and configurable reports enabled accurate stockpile visibility, better truck and plant scheduling, and right-sizing of equipment (replacing an 80 t excavator with a 60 t with no loss of output). Vaglio reduced machines from 35 to 30, saved about 4,000–4,500 L of fuel per day, and gained a modular, company-wide productivity solution.
