Stable growth in concrete, steel and glazing construction UPB increases efficiency every year

UPB Holding, a Latvian industrial enterprise group with more than 25 years of experience in engineering, production, and construction, needed a better way to plan, design, and coordinate complex concrete, steel, and glazing projects. Using Trimble’s Tekla Structures and Tekla Model Sharing, the company wanted to improve collaboration across offices and make project estimates, drawings, and production planning more efficient.

Trimble implemented Tekla Model Sharing so UPB teams could work simultaneously on the same model, even across different locations, with only changes synced through the cloud. The result was faster collaboration, fewer delays, and more efficient use of engineering resources; for example, precast wall cast unit drawings became 10–20% faster to create. UPB also reported significant time savings in numbering, drawing creation, and overall project execution, helping increase efficiency year after year.
