GMI Construction Delivering Ibis Hotel Leeds with Viewpoint Field View

GMI Construction, a long-established building and construction services company, needed to replace paper-based site management on the Ibis Styles Hotel Leeds renovation with a more secure and efficient way to track change orders, snagging, and workflow issues. The project required tight quality control and coordination across multiple trades, and GMI turned to Trimble’s Viewpoint Field View to help manage the work on site.

Trimble implemented Viewpoint Field View on mobile tablets for 15 users, including key subcontractors, giving the team real-time access to open items, searchable workflows, and location-specific snagging records with photos. The result was faster issue resolution, better accuracy, and early identification of problems, saving an estimated two to three hours per man per day and £750 to £1,000 per day over the 51-week project.
