AIC Steel leverages Tekla Structures for successful delivery of SABIC Jubail main building

AIC Steel, part of the Arabian International Group, faced the challenge of delivering the highly complex SABIC Jubail Main Building, including a six-part corporate office complex with a diagrid system, extensive steel fabrication, and tight coordination across stakeholders and field teams. To meet these demands, AIC Steel used Trimble’s Tekla Structures and Tekla Model Sharing to manage BIM modeling and communication on the project.

Trimble helped AIC Steel create accurate 3D models, workshop drawings, and fabrication outputs while enabling remote collaboration and conflict detection across disciplines. As a result, the project was completed on time and within budget, with reduced errors, more efficient workflows, lower labor costs, and improved stakeholder communication, setting a new benchmark for construction efficiency.
