Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS) is a nonprofit health care network headquartered in New Haven, CT, with 2,588 beds across Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island. After recent mergers, YNHHS needed to unify and standardize its facilities operations and procurement processes, so it engaged Enstoa to redesign workflows and align technology across the system.

Enstoa and e-Builder implemented e-Builder Enterprise in phases, integrating it with YNHHS’s Infor ERP and Strata planning tool and rolling out Documents, Schedules, Cost, Processes, and Reports. The Processes module tied into Cost Management to enforce approvals and budget controls, while analytics (Power BI/Starfish) and a centralized document/transmittal structure improved visibility and cross‑department collaboration. The result: synced financial and project data, stronger budget transparency and adoption, streamlined procurement for complex GMP contracts, and recognition with a 2020 ASHE Excellence award.
