Stellar International, a global manufacturer and supplier of rolling steel doors that manages 400–700 live capital projects at a time, was heavily paper- and spreadsheet-driven with manual drawings, no digital bidding system, and limited visibility into open jobs and project data. That fragmented approach made it difficult to index information, track work in the field, and capture reliable project or financial data.

Stellar implemented e-Builder Enterprise (starting in 2017) to centralize documentation and automate reporting and workflows—most notably the Job Completion and Critical Deficiency workflows. The system gave PMs instant access to contracts in the field, automated notifications for new estimates and 90%‑complete projects, improved resource planning (prompting hires), enabled revenue validation, and set the stage for BI dashboards and a Sage integration to reduce errors and align Accounting and Estimating.
