Providence, a large healthcare system with 52 hospitals and 1,085 clinics across seven states, needed a centralized way to track capital projects, costs, and documents while coordinating internal teams and external partners like contractors and architects across dispersed regions.

Providence implemented e-Builder Enterprise to digitize invoicing, change orders, contracts, scheduling and document sharing, and to integrate with financial analytics and ERP systems. The centralized platform standardized approval workflows, improved data quality and reporting, sped vendor payments, and now supports about 1,200 active projects with roughly 200 users—while plans continue to expand processes and add features like DocuSign.
