Nunavut Housing Corporation (NHC), the territory’s public housing agency serving about 36,000 people across 25 remote communities and managing roughly 5,500 public and 1,600 staff housing units, faced a major ramp-up in work — a $76.7M, two‑year capital program and more than 200 active projects. Decentralized processes across three district offices, inconsistent reporting, and an unfavorable government audit made it difficult to manage documentation, budgets, and project progress.

In April 2017 NHC implemented e-Builder Enterprise to standardize processes, integrate cost and document management, and customize workflows. The cloud-based, centralized system provides real-time dashboards for executives and finance, consolidated current and historical data, faster expense reporting, streamlined workflows (eliminating handwritten notes), and stronger project controls and audit readiness.
