Loudoun County Public Schools - Customer Case Study

Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS), the third-largest school division in Virginia serving more than 80,000 students across 97 facilities, faced the challenge of managing a complex capital program (average annual budget $141M) with many sites and external partners. The district needed an owner-centric project management tool that both internal teams and outside collaborators could use efficiently, and after evaluating options migrated from Prolog to e-Builder in 2019.

LCPS implemented e-Builder as a central information hub, involving project managers, finance, designers and contractors in the selection and rollout. After expanding to an unlimited license, 361 users now access the system across Construction, Design, Planning, Facilities and Accounting; the platform has streamlined processes, saved time and money, simplified remote work during COVID-19, and made project and O&M information more accessible for future users like school principals.
