Engaging Maintenance Management Teams for Higher Performance with AgileAssets® Maintenance Manager™

Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) wanted to raise maintenance performance across its statewide operations. With an advanced AgileAssets Maintenance Manager system and about 600 users, the agency still faced rising traffic, aging infrastructure, and budget pressures—and needed a cultural shift to get staff to fully embrace technology, continuous learning, and transparency.

ODOT implemented a comprehensive MMS training and engagement program featuring specialized in‑house training by power users, sustained program funding, employee email support groups, weekly team meetings, periodic user surveys, and a dedicated on‑site AgileAssets support staff member. The initiative boosted user engagement and proficiency, improved data integrity and executive reporting, increased operational efficiency and asset performance, lowered maintenance costs, improved morale, and earned ODOT the 2018 AgileAssets AXIAM award.
