Telia Company, the largest Nordic and Baltic fixed-voice, broadband, and mobile operator by revenue and customer base, was running a growing OpenStack cloud that supported business-critical services and applications. As its internal monitoring and operations needs increased, Telia faced a rising need for strong data protection and fast point-in-time recovery. Trilio provided the vendor solution, using its TrilioVault platform to address these cloud recovery challenges.

TrilioVault, Trilio’s OpenStack-native data protection solution, gave Telia self-service, agentless backup and recovery with support for multi-tenancy and policy-based protection. The platform also integrated with core OpenStack services to improve recovery time objectives and recovery point objectives, while enabling quick one-click restores across workloads and availability zones.
