CSI-Piemonte Delivers Self-Service Backup & Recovery to Public Sector

CSI-Piemonte, Italy’s Piedmont public administration service provider, needed to move 1,300 virtual machines to an OpenStack cloud and protect sensitive public sector workloads in the new environment. To meet this challenge, CSI turned to Trilio and its TrilioVault cloud data protection platform, which offered native OpenStack backup and recovery with RESTful API integration and multi-tenant support.

With Trilio, CSI implemented self-service, agentless backup and recovery through its NIVOLA cloud management platform, giving end users a single dashboard to manage workloads independently. The solution helped CSI protect customer and internal cloud data, minimize downtime risk, improve operational efficiency, and support public sector business continuity while reducing public spending costs.
