Trieve's infrastructure powers search and RAG for tech's best documentation platform

Mintlify, a company that provides a developer-forward platform for building documentation, needed to implement search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) capabilities for its product. They engaged the vendor, Trieve, to discuss their technical requirements and desired outcomes for these features.

Trieve first built a proof-of-concept for Mintlify to evaluate its out-of-the-box search quality. After a successful testing period, the Trieve-based solution for search was implemented in just one sprint and launched to all customers. The all-in-one Trieve solution provided control over chunking and analytics, leading to the subsequent successful rollout of Trieve-powered RAG as well.
