Tridium’s NIAGARA FrameworkTM brings unity to Allianz Suisse

Allianz Suisse, an international financial and insurance company, needed a building management solution for its Zurich headquarters that would seamlessly integrate a new building extension with its existing automation systems while providing easy, centralized access. To address this challenge, Allianz Suisse worked with vendor Tridium, leveraging their NIAGARA Framework™ through systems integrator ETAVIS.

The solution implemented by Tridium embedded their NIAGARA Framework within 18 JACE units, creating a unified, IP-integrated platform. This open solution consolidated over 700 Lon nodes and 3000 data points from diverse systems, including HVAC, lighting, and security, regardless of manufacturer. The results provided Allianz Suisse with a flexible, web-accessible system that enabled remote control from any browser, integrated two additional sites onto the same platform, and delivered significant cost savings and future-proofing for further expansion.
