Honeywell Aerospace sought to enhance production processes for turbine engines at several sites, identifying opportunities to reduce rework and costs by improving low process capability and Rolled Throughput Yield. The solution implemented by Tridium provided real-time sensor data visualization, identification of process deviations, and predictive modeling. This enabled Honeywell to make rapid adjustments, keep processes within specifications, and forecast future values. The measurable results for the vendor Tridium included a 23% reduction in defects and re-work and a 21% reduction in scrap, achieving a First Pass Yield of 96%.
