PrivatBank, through UK SPV Credit Finance PLC, faced a major challenge after noteholders disputed the Bail In process and sought recovery of US$375 million from the Government of Ukraine. Tricor Group supported the case as Successor Trustee, working on behalf of the noteholders in the UK and Ukraine financial services context.
Tricor Group was appointed to act on noteholders’ instructions and commence arbitration proceedings in London. The result was an ongoing arbitration effort aimed at recovering the amounts owed, providing a formal legal route for noteholder claims and supporting the pursuit of US$375 million in recovery.
