Worldpay faced major testing and quality challenges with its legacy processes, including manual regression suites that took weeks to run, inconsistent test data, tens of thousands of manual test cases in HP ALM, and release cycles stretched to accommodate testing. To address these issues, Worldpay engaged Tricentis, initially piloting Tricentis Tosca as an automation solution.

Tricentis completed the pilot on time and delivered a roadmap for automating key applications, with the pilot achieving 100% success in automating those applications. Worldpay then adopted 15 licenses of Tricentis Tosca and expanded its use to improve regression testing, risk coverage, and continuous integration; afterward, QA users were able to run and extend the test portfolio and manage test data independently, helping reduce time to market and risk.
