WienIT expands performance testing to 300 concurrent users with Tricentis NeoLoad

WienIT, the IT service provider for the Wiener Stadtwerke Group, needed to ensure seamless digital experiences for energy and public transportation customers. As they planned a major migration to SAP S/4HANA, they faced the challenge of expanding their software testing to include performance testing, a new service they needed to establish and convince their internal customers to adopt.

With support from Tricentis partner triscon and using the Tricentis NeoLoad platform, WienIT implemented a codeless performance testing solution. This allowed them to reuse existing Tosca test cases, avoiding duplicate work. The solution successfully validated performance for up to 300 concurrent users, dispelling initial skepticism. Performance testing is now an established service, with about one-third of the SAP environment migrated and the rest planned through 2025, giving customers confidence in software reliability and user experience.
