ITOCHU Corporation faced a major testing challenge during its move from a 25-year-old SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment to S/4HANA Cloud across 50 overseas companies. With only 10 testers, mostly manual processes, and country-specific business variations, regression testing had become too slow and hard to standardize; before Tricentis, a 120-case suite took about 180 hours per release.

Tricentis provided Tosca, along with support from the Tricentis Professional Services Operations team, to automate regression testing, migrate test assets, and create country-specific scenarios, while also using Test Data Service and Test Case Design to scale coverage and simplify maintenance. As a result, ITOCHU increased test coverage by 760%, cut execution time by 38%, reduced setup time by 70%, and lowered total test effort by 65%, helping speed and stabilize the S/4HANA Cloud migration.
