Case Study: Q2 achieves greater visibility, traceability, and faster DevOps quality with Tricentis qTest

A Tricentis Case Study

Preview of the Q2 Case Study

Q2 drives quality DevOps ecosystem at speed with qTest

Q2, a retail banking technology company, needed a better way to manage quality as it released digital banking software multiple times per month across web, iOS, and Android. With automation spread across multiple tools and teams, it was difficult to trace test results, judge release readiness, and keep compliance evidence clear. Q2 turned to Tricentis and its qTest test management platform to bring order and visibility to its DevOps process.

Tricentis implemented qTest to connect testing with Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Teams, Selenium, Appium, and Q2’s reporting stack, creating standardized test management, stronger traceability, and data-driven release decisions. The result was less redundancy, faster triage of failed tests, reduced false positives from environment issues, and much greater confidence in release quality. Q2 now reports tangible progress metrics, such as being able to say a release is “93% complete,” and uses qTest data to power custom dashboards and improve DevOps performance.
