How Twinformatics uses NeoLoad + Tosca to minimize effort required to reduce performance business risk

Twinformatics, an insurance software company, needed a better way to performance test customer-facing applications after moving beyond internal-only use. Its old JMeter-based approach took too much effort to create and maintain test cases, with performance issues becoming a real business risk; the team also wanted to align testing more closely with business priorities using Tosca and Tricentis NeoLoad.

Tricentis implemented NeoLoad alongside Tosca to automate and simplify load testing, including one-click conversion of Tosca functional tests into NeoLoad performance tests. The result was a dramatic drop in maintenance from about 20 man-days to four to five hours per test set, a 90X increase in test execution frequency from 4 to about 365 tests per year, and coverage expansion from 10–20% to 70–80%, across seven systems instead of one.
