Colas Digital Solutions, which supports critical processes across 110 business applications for a global infrastructure business, needed faster and more complete testing to support a major ERP update and broader digital transformation. Its manual approach could no longer keep pace, so the team launched the TASER project and evaluated Tricentis Tosca to replace script-heavy, maintenance-prone testing with a more sustainable automation approach.

Tricentis implemented model-based test automation that let business analysts build tests without developers and covered a complex mix of ERP, legacy, SaaS, and desktop applications. The results were strong: Colas automated testing across 6 legacy systems and an ERP with four major modules, reached about 80% test automation across target applications, and automated 1,400 test scenarios. Tricentis helped Colas catch defects earlier, reduce production disruptions, and shift toward a continuous quality mindset.
