Experian wanted to build automated regression testing for core applications like Oracle E-Business Suite and Salesforce, but its OpenText UFT-based approach was brittle, slow, and expensive to maintain. Full regression cycles took 9 weeks with a team of 4, test automation coverage stayed below 15%, and thousands of scripted tests added little value.

Tricentis implemented Tosca’s scriptless, model-based test automation to replace the UFT tests with resilient, reusable assets that both business and technical teams could create. In just 3 months, Experian cut the test set down to 750 Tosca tests, reached 85% automation and 95% requirements coverage, and replaced 9-week cycles with continuous testing, while also reducing false positives and integrating testing into CI/CD.
